Hi, I had tribunal on the 27th of may for pip, I won my case, dwp called me last Tuesday and asked if id been abroad or in prison or hospital since my claim, also asked for my bank details, they said they needed this information to look at arrears on my claim. Does this mean there not appealing any further do you think? Has anybody else had the same call? I thought they waited 28 days to look and decide what they are going to do? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank-you.

They called and said looking at the evidence I sent in Was all ok, and the tribunal asked them to have another look but it turns out they offered me standard daily living and standard mobility then said if I except they will process the back pay

I have been on high rate DLA plus low help rate since June 2000 and have since had 2 stokes, TIAs and a heart attack with 5 stents fitted and also ARMD and am now registered as visually impaired, yet I won't put in a further claim because I dread PIP. Have heard such terrible stories i.e. no doctors AT ALL on the panel and people with terminal cancer being told they can work. Also my son took a large redundancy package to look after me, but won't claim Carer's Allowance for the same reason. All I can suggest, is that you phone DWP and get some further information. Regards, Val. Hope you are successful with your clame.
