i will tell you this has been one of my

most bothersome symptoms besides severe anxiety, hot flashes, insomnia, breast tenderness etc. Ear and jaw pain started when i started peri. more on left. would cause sharp pain on top of roof of mouth, ear pain, jaw pain, behind left tonsil (where throat meets ear) too would THROB which would then cause a migraine.

i had migraines on left where mastoid is for a couple years. i was terrified i had something very bad. the pain was debilitating. i got Severe tooth pain and went to dentist and he said it was my sinuses-that my teeth were fine! then months later started having severe popping in ears and sinus pain and drainage. went to ENT and had a bunch of tests and its SEVERE ALLERGIES. allergic rhinitis. started CLARITIN AND FLONASE DAILY and symptoms dissappeared after having them for almost a year!!!

menopause makes histamine levels wacky. if you have allergies or a deviated septum like i do it can get really bad.

omg just read this i honestly thought i was going mental popping ears and dizzy spells which make me anxious. A cough for months due to allergies i now take claratin most days. Hot flushes are few and far between but breast pain is through the roof and is my anxiety no fun at all

    Jacqueline and Ladies;

I am 52 and officially post menopause. I have tonsil stones (to disclose as that may be part of it but I am always digging them out - I know nasty) but do any of you have the following:

Pain in the deep back of throat on one side (not when I swallow just any ole time) that comes and goes

Pain (same side) in my upper jaw

Pain (same side) in deep in ears that almost itches

Pain between shoulder-blade (I am right handed and sit on my computer for business about 10 hours a day

this is also on the right side

All these come and go. My lymph nodes are not swollen, no fever and this is driving me nuts.

    Am I alone in this?

just read your post. I am having the exact same symptoms as you. in between shoulder blade pain, ear and throat pain. I was wondering if you ever found out what it was ?How long you had it and did it ever go away?

Did you ever have this checked out??? My husband is experiencing a 'clogged ear' and jaw pain.. I'm thinking it's due to stress but not sure.

I've had weird left ear pain on and off for 3 out of the 4 or 5 years my perimenopause has been getting worse. I've also had a wisdom tooth on that side grow sporadically each time I was pregnant (7) 5 babies and now it does the same

Last night I was woken with ear pain in my right

I am so sick of waking up. It's always something or nothing. and at least twice every night. I'm exhausted and think mu doc wont be understanding at all. males usually aren't about any of this stuff.

The last 2 weeks I have been experiencing right top jaw pain and ear ache. Some days can be worse than others. I went to the dentist as I thought it was the back tooth at the top as it was a root filling but had x rays and not problems. I am 52 years of age and have not had a period for about 12 months but my god I have had so many problems. firstly it was stomach pain then breast pain then throat pain. All of these were down to the menopause as I had scans endoscopy and gastroscopy. I feel broken and wonder when all this pain will stop. Havent been able to speak to a lady dr until now and is going to do a blood test to see what all my levels are at. I just wish this would all go away

I have been experiencing almost all of these symptoms, plus more I feel like I am crazy and that my GP is just humoring me thank god I like in Canada and my health care is paid for except naturopath that I have spent alot of money on . Anyway - I did start HRT on Mar 13th and most of my issues have faded I still get anxiety and mood swings ( about 12 a day) but I do believe that these are going t slowly fade the longer I am on treatment Thanks for the support this group has provided. I can relate to all of you and this nightmare called menopause
