Ear drainage after mastoidectomy surgery for cholesteatoma

Hi,

I was diagnosed with a cholesteatoma two years ago because of frequent ear infections, dizziness and ear discharge. I was going in to see my doctor every two weeks to get my ear cleaned out

I underwent surgery (mastoidectomy and typanoplasty) one year ago to treat the disease. My ear has been dry for the most part after surgery. But I still experience yellow discharge from my ear every few months and have to go get it suctioned out at the Doctor.

Has anyone else experienced discharge one year after surgery?
