Ear feels blocked when i smile big or laugh should i worried?

I just started noticing that when i smile big or laugh my i can hear that good untill i stop smiling it sounds like when you get water in your ears and your hearing is worse until you get the water out is you get what im saying it feels like that anyone else feel the same ? Should i be worried?

    Hello.

    I've had similar problems over the years. It sounds as though your eustachian tube might be blocked. Two remedies: one, chemical. Flixonase nose drops (or similar in your country), which in the UK is on prescription.

    An alternative remedy is 'manipulation'! Sounds daft, but worth trying - what you do is move your lower jaw all the way right, then all the way left, about ten times each. This seems to stretch the eustachian tube and help dislodge the bunged-up mucus. Also, pull your lower jaw all the way down, then release, and so on, about ten times.

    None of the remedies is instant, although I find the jaw swinging helps very quickly. (Do it in private, or else there's a danger they might lock you up...)
