Ear infection

it started 3 weeks ago with blocked ears and now it's an almost constant vibrating like noise down my ear. I have an ear infection and was prescribed antibiotics spray Tuesday now Friday and still hasn't cleared it. I do have antibiotics which I'm very nervous about taking (amoxicillin). I seen a different doctor today who said continue with the ear spray although the last doctor said it would be better to take antibiotics. feeling confused as to what to do. I literally cant take this anymore its causing me severe anxiety and worry.

    for ear infections it's usually best to use an antibiotic spray, it is quicker than oral anantibiotics. the virbrations will just be pressure within the ear so it will probably stop when the infection clears up. it will take more than 3 days to start clearing up but it will get better.

      are you sure? I'm just really worried about it. I haven't had the noise all day until around an hour ago and it started again. it is a bit quite than it was but it's just really frustrating and these ear drops are taking forever to work I started them Tuesday evening.

    yeah, fluid will cause pressure in the ear. i had ear infections for 3 years due to an underlining issue. you have to give the antibiotics more time to work.
