Ear infection and back pain. Not sure what it could be?

Hi,

Last Sunday I felt a ear infection coming in my right ear by Monday night my ear was nearly swollen shut and I was pretty deaf. The next day I rang the doctor for an appointment and as usual they had no appointments left and asked me to go to the walk in centre miles away or call back Wednesday.

By Wednesday the pain in my ear had gone however it was still swollen and I was deaf. I thought wait it out as it seems to be getting better.

Thursday I just cracked on at work still deaf. Friday came and I was really bad I felt rubbish no energy, cold, splitting headache and like I was slightly drunk. I slept until midday Saturday and woke up feeling ok swelling in my ear has gone down however it not completely right. Saturday night my headache came back so I went to bed.

I woke up today with no swelling in my ear but still mostly deaf and now with sharp pain in the top of my spine when I move my head forward and backwards. Other than the my current spine pain and slight deafness I don't have any of my previous symptoms.

Any ideas, info or advice would be great.

Many thanks
