Ear Infection Hell for 2 Years

I have had an ear infection for 2 years. Weird yellowy filmy like stuff sometimes sticks to the q tip (almost like a mesh), sometimes theres a white dischargy looking blob. At times i can make a vacuum and i can feel the water dislodge because i can then hear just fine. Most days it doesnt bother me but sometimes it throbs or has sharp 30 second pain spurts. The hearing in my right ear is a lot worse than my left. Its a weird full feeling in my right ear. The infection spread to my right ear as well but the worst it does is get itchy with the same meshy stuff. I have talked to my doctor and she never gives me anything that actually helps. Any suggestions?
