Ear popping and feeling clogged..

I have written a post about this months ago and can't find the original.. Is there a place where I can view my threads that I began..OK, I'm at my wits end.... My spouse has had ear problems for months now and has been to about 5 or 6 doctors for this 'clogged' feeling in his ears.. Hearing is good.. I believe it's due to anxiety/stress. How can I convince him to see a therapist to treat his anxiety? This is affecting our marriage because he thinks I want him on drugs--- But if meds will help him then I do want him to do this. He uses ear drops and baking soda for his ears... Also states he has headaches too.. Thank-you for reading!!

Hi kelly , does he have any other symptoms ? Ask him to try a mixture of alcohol and apple cider vinegar . Put in a few drops for several days . Baking soda can damage .. Hope it clears / opens up soon

How about seeing an ear. nose and throat specialist otherwise known as an ENT.

Hi Kelly...
Ive had a similar problem for the last 9 years. Doctors always say there is a little wax and try olive oil.
i got a referral to a neurologist as was also getting rear neck pain. he gave me an unconvincing diagnosis of occipital nueralgia which i opted to treat via physio instead of the optional nerve block injection.
The reason i tell you all this is that i now believe something simple is more likely my issue.
recently my symptoms got worse and i was feeling dizzy along with my blocked ear. i was also getting pain in my neck, after i had attempted some self physio.
anyway... i stumbled on TMJ on youtube and surprisingly it can cause all sorts of symptoms. the self treatment exercises/massage are easy to do and i was absolutely amazed at how i got instant relief and unglogging of my ear.
symptoms returned but i believe this is because it will simply take a little time to get the tmj muscles relaxed again.
id love to hear if this helps!

Yes.. Thank-you!!!Back in June/July he was complaining about about the ear AND his jaw.... He was trying all these exercises and it helped. No more jaw pain. I even bought him a night guard but he refused to wear it so he took it back.I will let him know about continuing the exercises for his ear.. yes, you never know it could help. Thanks again for your reply!!
