Has anyone ever had ear pressure or fullness and maybe sensitive to noise like flushing the toilet in the morning or things that you would never think would make it sound sensitive in your ear? Mostly its the tightness, fullness, clogged, feel like something is stuck in ear and cant get it out. Keep in mind i have been to ENT and had MRI with contrast and he said my ear looks great, I was hoping he saw fluid or something in there so that i know it will go away. But nothing is wrong. I have some hearing loss and they said they had to put me on steroids but no my hearing has come back some ...So I asking if anyone has ever had this with anxiety? I am struggling right now so bad because i am afraid its never going to go away and as i cant deal with the ear fullness and clogged feeling its actually making depressed. All i do is ruminate on this and its all i dwell on alllllll day long and its killing me inside. I am an great shape an active person who lifts everyday and now i can do anything because i am so sad and down and out...all of a clogged ear... please someone chime in and help me i am hoping that this weird symptom is a result of anxiety. Please note when i failed hearing test i was in a bad spot and was when my ear was so full and clogged..when i went back a week later and on prednisone it went back up a little bit closer to what i was a year ago. PLEASE HELP ME i am struggling, if i can think that this is a result of anxiety i know that i am strong enough to get the ear symptoms behind me if i know its anxiety...sucks so bad and i need you guys to help me..

I have had the clogged ear on one side and also ringing in the ear. I believe all due to anxiety because otherwise I am very healthy. It’s very annoying. I do have a little hearing loss in that ear and I was upset about that but what can I do? The clogged ear comes and goes and my ear is sensitive to sound. When I blow dry my hair I put a little cotton ball in that ear so the excess noise does not make it worse.. I think this is common with long-term anxiety and stress. It didn’t start with the clogged ear it started with the ringing in the ear and then over the years I must’ve developed a little hearing loss. So I try to keep my anxiety level down and stay away from caffeinated products. I’m sure there’s some other drink or food to avoid also.

please try not to ruminate on it all the time because it increases the anxiety. Take one day at a time. Do you have high levels of anxiety before this happened?
