Ear problem

I have a blood clot in ear.  Have band of tightness over head.  Is that normal ?  I have also diagnosed with benign brain tumour . They concerned it's connected. Dr said one mass is in caverness sinus. And other in middle fossa. Another Dr said should not feel pain from ear.   So why tightness over head ?

    I also have a benign brain tumour and it takes up space in my brain and has caused things to move to accomodate it. It puts pressure on some areas and sometimes I feel as if I am wearing a hat that is too tight. I have had radiotherapy to try and shrink it but wont know until June how sucessful it has been. Mine has also caused deafness on the side it is sitting. Hope for less pressure and no pain, but I know the hearing is gone for good. Hope you get some relief.

      How big was you tumour and what age group are you..

      I am over 70 and have other health problems, not sure if they will worry about keeping what hearing I have

      My tumour is the size of a peach stone and has moved my brain stem slightly to the left. It has also eroded some bone. I am 60 and because of the tumour, my balance has been affected. This is a problem because I have also been diagnosed with osteoporosis. They will try to keep what hearing you have left. I am certain, but I would advise you to keep at them. Deafness can cause isolation and this can lead to other problems.

      Thanks Alison, my tumour is only 1cm, hope that helps me with any treatment, already a bit isolated because of impaired hearing, complete deafness will complete it.

    Went into hospital today they removed blood clot in middle ear ..no tumour phew !!     And put Gromit in ...  Home now !!  Feel good.      Hope left ear soon may hear again . The brain tumour is in a place they can't operate on ?   But it may not be my problem it was probabky the ear or stress ?   But not sure.   .... Ummm.   Time will tell.      But feeling much more positive smile.      Looking forward to paradise earth soon where no more sickness or imperfections ,or even death.    Wa hey !!   Placed a book with a lovely nurse today    .. She was very interested ..  There is a chapter in there .why dies God permit suffering ?    If anyone would also like it I can post it on line.      Take care all.     Will let you know future developments if any regarding ear .

    I have pain that, for a very long time I thought was earache. Came back from holiday yesterday and feel more pressure, probably due to the flight. I could not fly for 3 months after the treatment. Having something in our heads that shouldnt be there is bound to take up space and press on other things. I am not a Dr but I think that you are experiencing similar symptoms to me
