Ear Problems continuing

I saw my Dr with ear problems, hearing wind and being a bit deaf. He said it was red and inflamed (no pain) I got meds with antibiotics and steroid, which cleared it up. Then i got an abscess on my gum and my hearing went again, and ear feels closed up. I have had recurring gum abscesses for years, and i have lost all back teeth on bottom gum due to them. Since then, the abscesses still come up regular. Dentist took x-rays, hospital did same, nothing shows up. Is there some connection here? Dentist says to attend immediately abscess comes up, so she can see, but the blighter always appears over holidays. I take disprin and it goes down, ruddy mystery to me

I think the dentist and ear specialist/doctor would have to do swabs of your ears and gums to see if it is the same bug that is causing the problem. Have they done general blood tests to look for any problems/problems with your immune system?

My dentist thinks i have sjogrens syndrome, and sent a letter to my Dr, hoping for quick apptment. I got a letter telling me to put an apptment on, waiting time is between 5 weeks & 2 mths to see your own Dr. I spoke to her about it and was totally ignored, no blood tests taken.

Do you have any other experienced doctors you could book in to see. Is your doctor a specialist? 5 weeks is a hell of a long time to wait to see a doctor!!
