Ear ringing due to sinus infection

I had a sinus infection last week went to the doctors but didn't have any antibiotics prescribed. They just prescribed me a nose spray. By the end of the week my left ear started slightly ringing and hurting and also feels blocked so I went back to the doctors. My sinuses were still sensitive, I had anitibiotics (amoxicillin) prescribed. Has the problem with my ear being caused by the blocked sinuses ?

    I would say it is definitely connected with your sinuses. Any time I have problems with my sinuses it always affects my ears. Hope you feel better soon, ear problems are the worse!

      That's what I was hoping, it seems a bit of a coincidence ! I'm currently 39 weeks pregnant which isn't helping. I've only been on the antibiotics for just over 2 days so I'm hoping I feel better in a couple of days .Ear problems are the worst. I only seem to suffer with sinus problems when I pregnant as well. I think I was worried because I've never had the ear pain and ringing with it before !
