Quick History:
I went to a trip, I jumped on the sea, week later I had fluid in my ears and wouldnt fade away. Soon later I was experiencing scab and very dry ear and very stitchy. I removed a scab and a little blood came out. Now 2 months later I went to the ENT and he gave me Ciprofloxacin drops and Mupirocin Topical cream. Its the 5th day and its looking like this:
is it working? I feel incredibly stichy and it doesnt smell or fluid comes out its just there like paste. No fever.

if ENT have looked and given Cipro then it's likely that they assume or have tested (via a swab) Psudomonas bug. The colour of the substance is quite indicative of Psudomonas.
It's a bug which is very stubborn and can take a while to get rid of.
put it simply - it took over 6 months for the Psudomonas bug to be killed in my ear... I developed sepsis after 6 months and therefore I was given emergency IV antibiotics which killed it quickly. I thought I only had a cough but within a few hours, I had blood in my ear, I could barely move, cold sweats, high temp, high heart rate, respiratory rate over 20, reduced urine output and incredibly bad lower back pain, which the Dr explained was my kidneys shutting down. I was forced to see a Dr that same day, I was just going to leave it and wait to see if I improved but the Dr informed me that if I waited even for just a few more hours, I would have been at extremely high risk of heart attack and would of had respiratory failure as I was already starting to have organ failure when I arrived at the hospital.
I had surgery on the 22nd March to drill out dead bone and patch the eardrum. I have yet to see ENT post surgery but I'm almost 100% sure the eardrum patching has failed as I have some green discharge and I can feel air still going through it... also I have a cold.
My advise is to give the Cipro time, maybe ask the ENT people for an aural toilette (micro suction of the ear debris). If a swab hasn't been done, ask them or your GP to perform one asap.
But more so, it's about patience. And trust me, it can be extremely difficult to be patient enough without voicing your discontent but just try to keep spirits high and if there is anything you're not happy about - voice it to ENT - because you have the right and also the need, to be happy with your treatment plan.
