Earache, sore throat, headache, gums ache / 7 months

Hello - For many months I have been experiencing an earache, sore throat and headache, plus my gums ache. This all happens on the left side of head (even the sore throat is on the left of my throat).
I've found that by taking an anti-inflammatory pill ALL the symptoms go away. However, I realize that I can't continue doing so forever.
I went to an ear/nose/throat specialist here in Italy where I live. She run a thin tubular camera through my nose and down my throat so as to have a look. She determined that I had acid reflux and that it was the stomach acids that where giving me a sore throat.
I had my doubts since I had had zero stomach issues or discomfort, nor any real sensation of acid reflux. But she's the professional so I went home and began taking the prescribed medications. Unfortunately doing so just worsened the situation. Almost immediately I began actually having the problem she was attempting to cure: acid reflux. The discomfort intensified as the days passed, as did my use of anti-inflammatory pills. About 1 week ago I stopped taking all medications (including the anti-inflammatory pills). Since then the acid reflux has subsided and I'm back where I started: Earache, sore throat, headache, gums ache.
Any thoughts on what this might be? Any thoughts on how I might properly address it?
Thanks in advance - Tim

Hey,
Visit Some Gastroentrologist and Rule out the Acid Reflux issue and then Visit ENT specialist for those issues.
Thanks

I have the same symptoms and have been diagnosed with acid reflux. I don't get the normal symptoms being sick.. Bringing acid up into my throat.. Heartburn. I had a camera down my throat as I had a feeling that certain foods were getting stuck in my throat especially swallowing tablets and that's how I got the diagnosis plus a small hernia in my oesophagus which was causing my swallowing problem.. I now have a constant dry throat and cough and aching gums. I use sensodyne toothpaste now as ordinary toothpaste can affect the acid reflux.I don't think there's anything that will completely cure it unless you starve to death which I did cut out certain foods and lost weight which I don't really want to do. I just live with it now...

did you find out what it was that was causing your symptoms? i am in a similar situation. sore and burning throat on one side, slightly swollen lymph node on that side, and earache on that same side. I'm worried.

onenita,
Me too. Same symptoms. Ear pain has been bad today. I had a tube up my nose and down my throat a week ago but all was clear. so I am assuming its acid reflux. Wish I could have endoscopy to confirm.
I see your post was 4 months ago. Has it improved since?
