Earkier and Longer bleeding on birth control pills

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi,

I've been on combination pills for over a year. Last cycle, my bleeding started during last week of active pills.

My pharmacy had given me a substitute brand. But I've taken it before without issue.

Also, I may have missed a pill and threw up one night, which I'm not sure made the pill ineffective.

Anyway, I went to my doc who said to continue my plan and see if my body will adjust.

Currently, it's my placebo/pill-free week and I'm still bleeding moderately.

I'm just fed up of this inconvenience. Will starting the new pack stop the bleeding? Is it normal to get irregular cycles a year after going on the pill ? Please advise. TIA !!
