No probs. I know I was the same my weight was up and down but steady now. Just make sure when you are coming off them speak with your doc and you feel you are ready. I tried to come off them 2 years back and I ended up a mess but this time I felt the time was right and also because Im trying for a baby so fingers crossed im ok this time. x

Hi Natalie ..I am also coming off setraline at the moment with my gp's support. I'm now down to 25mg every 3 days for 10 days & then it will be every 4 days for 10 days & then hopefully stop.  You say u had terrible withdrawals..was that while u were coming off them or after u were off them? I feel ok now but am concerned in case I have problems when I stop taking them altogether?  Good luck with the baby by the way smile

Thanks really nice of you both! I am off them altogether I went down to 50mg then came off. The withdrawls were flu like symptoms at first and feeling sick now thats went away and im getting brain zaps but these have eased a bit now. They were driving me mad but since coming onto this and seeing that other people experiencing the same i felt so much better because i know im not the only person getting them. If you feel concerned speak to your doc beforehand and see what they say. Mentally I felt ok but physically I felt really ill no energy but that passed after a few days x

As I say I am doing this 'weaning off' with my doc's approval & assistance.   She doesn't foresee any problems but is keeping good eye on me so hopefully all will be ok..fingers crossed.  Maybe coming down from 50mg to nothing was bit too much for your system?  I went from 50mg to 25mg for 2 weeks & now the 25mg is every 2nd day then every 3rd day etc. so slowly does it I think is best!

My appetite is down to the floor and I am hating it. I have to force food as I am skinny and don't wanna loose more weight. I am in 50 mg dose and been in it for 12 days now.
