Eating under 1000 calories a day

What are some of the effects eating less than 1000 calories per day be on someone who is around 5 feet 4 inches and weighs around 130 pounds.
If I'm lucky I can get around 900 calories a day, but it's usually 200 to 500 calories a day.
I'm not trying to lose weight. We just can't afford enough food. I try to eat the food that I do have, and I find out that I'm no longer hungry, or it just makes me feel sick so I can't eat it.
I've struggled with getting enough to eat throughout my whole life. What could be some effects of that? Google just gives me weight loss things and diet things.

Sorry to hear that you can't afford enough food. As per your height, your weight is alright. But according to your height, you need somewhere around 1800 to 2000 calories. So, if you not having that much of calories on daily basis, it can have an negative impact on your body in future. Good Luck.

The other 7241 AE's said to say hi. All calories are not the same. Taking 1-2,000 calories worth of Pepsi and sugar cookies wont give you much of the minerals and vitamins that your body needs to function properly despite having lots of calories. 'Malnutrition symptoms' will give you some general info but you just have to do the best you can to eat foods that have actual nutrition in them. Your body will try its best to work with what you give it, but the problems from a lack of minerals and vitamins depend on the micronutrient that is lacking. Remember, you are unique, just like everyone else..

Alright! see 1000 calories is definitely going to harm you as your body needs more then 1500 calories.I am saying it "harmful" because you dont want to loose weight .there are many people who are struggling hard to loose weight and they are eating 1000 or lumpsum calories.in their case its ok ! bUt its not ok in your case.
SEE! this world is full of cheap healthy high calory foods. like PEANUTS,COCONUT,GRAM,LENTILS .add this in your diet they are cheap yet very effective.
HOPE IT HELPS

Such a small amount of calories will always be problematic for your body. Calorie - calories are not equal, but if you take less than what your body needs, your weight will go down. Also, remember that if you eat fast food and drink a bottle of Coca cola - it will not be the same as eating eg 150g of fish with 100g of rice. If you can'tt eat more - try to make sure that the food you eat is rich in vitamins and minerals. Maybe, you should thinking about research? Maybe something is wrong?

I still haven't fixed this problem and now I'm working full-time. I don't know if I'm getting the right amount of nutrition in my diet.
