EBV / glandular fever 3 months ago, have developed one cough after another?

hi i was wondering im 45 and was diagnosed with EBV / glandular fever months ago. sonce then ive recovered for many symptoms but keep getting a tickle in my throat and dry cough which goes away for maybe a week them comes back and never improves. ive also had a chest infection. Has anyone else got repeated cough problems after mono, even months later. starting to worry i have a lung problem and just looking for advice / opinions ive found this community such a support.
