EBV or Lymphoma or TB

So I was continuously depressed with the symptoms of EBV (daily fever, weight loss , pain in arm pits, shoulder collar bone ,knee joint pain and elbow pains, anemic etc...) for the last three months. EBV panel test shows past infection....But my doctor insisted to CT of chest, abdomen & pelvic.. Chest was clear and normal.. abdomen CT showed several enlarged lymph nodes in messentric region (covering lower chest, aorta, celiac, illiac ).. He was very concerned about this and wanted to node biopsy to take out the abnormal tissues and to be checked as my symptoms mostly go in hand with Lymphoma and along with enlarged lymph nodes. He was saying the lymph nodes enlargement even could be bcoz of infections, but he wanted to confirm the same. So have done the biopsy on last friday and waiting for results now , which is supposed to come on Dec 3rd...

One more thing , I was tested positive for TB exposure but since chest is clear , he thinks it is not active tb.. But at the same time TB infection could also give the similar symptoms if it is present in other parts of body eg :- abdominal or lymph node tbs.. So the Dr now ordered some more tests on the tissue culture to find if it is related to TB infection..

I'm totally in hell state now, thinking all these and not sure what will happen.. More worried now.

Anyone here with EBV infection had your abdominal lymphnodes enlarged?

That didnt happen to me but i have heard similiar things from a few people on the forums.

It very much sounds like its some kind of infection from what you're saying.

Update us on the results when you get them so other people can search this.
