ECG

I was surprised how little time it took ! I was only wired up for a minute if that, so either I'm super fit and needn't worry or I'm a goner !! Nurse was very professional but not really willing to give me any information.

Just had a ECG myself - was hardly undressed when wass putting top back on. Nothing to it but now having to have a echo scan of heart - wonder if that means they found something. Nurse not allowed to say anything and Specialist not explain too much until he has the results of heart scan and blood test.

Jane Hughes - an ECG is not an Echocardiogram, and yeah an ECG takes just a few minutes. Echo takes longer and is used to follow up and further investigate things that the ECG might show up.

I had an ECG yesterday and the following were found: Sinus Tachycardia, Poor R Wave Progression and Anterior T Inversion. Does anyone know what these abnormalities are or how serious they are? I have an Ultrasound booked for next Friday but am desperate for any information. Please help.
