Ectopic beats and flow.

when I get one of these flutters or pulses and I am observing my wrist pules it appears as if a pulse is missing. In fact on my heart monitor (and the surgery's) there is an extra pulse one third of the way along to the next beat.

  1. If there is a 'missing' beat but an extra beat does this mean the blood flow is arrested momentarily?
  2. Sometimes I feel really grotty when I get these. Sometimes a bit dizzy. Do these symptoms mean that several beats have been interrupted in a row and the blood flow in the Brain stops so dizziness comes on (and why people sometimes pass out)?
