ectopic-is stress the biggest factor?

Just checking if anyone is still following this forum as many of the posts are some years old with a sprinkling of newer ones. I was interested in this post ;
"i don't know what triggered them but got so fed up on sat night that i called my friend who is a paramedic and she told me to come to the station where she was working and she would do an ecg. Well as soon as she put the leads on they stopped for 10 minutes then when i drove home they started again."
It is often said stress is a big trigger and whilst I would say I am quite laid back it is remarkable that when I went to the GP following a bout of missing heartbeats several years ago, as soon as I sat in the chair they stopped and started again as I left the surgery.
The GP reluctantly sent me to get a 24 hour monitor and of course nothing showed up. I called in twice over the last couple of years when I was getting loads of ectopics and was pleased to see a nurse almost immediately who wired me up, and of course both times my heart behaved perfectly but triumphantly started playing up again as soon as I had closed the door.
So my conclusion is that being with someone trained to look after you immediately reduces stress-one of the triggers. That the more you worry about the beats the more likely they are to become troublesome and the busier you can be the less you will notice them.
As for other triggers? I have been keeping a daily health diary for well over 2 years and I can't find any, other than perhaps sitting down and bending over but I can do both those actions many times without any detrimental effect.
I did have shingles many years ago which is a sign of stress so perhaps many on this forum will be more susceptible to it than they think.
Anyone doing yoga/meditation here, or other calming exercise, who also suffers from ectopics?
