I was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy in June and treated with Methotrexate on 6/22. The treatment was successful in ending the pregnancy, but the ectopic mass has not resolved. I've had several follow up ultrasounds with little change. My doctor is now talking surgery, and I'm waiting on a returned call to answer some questions. I'd like to avoid any invasive procedure, but is it avoidable at this point? I'm having difficulty finding literature that talks about ectopic masses that are slow to resolve. Does anyone have any experience with this?
