Eczema and cats

I was diagnosed with eczema 2 1/2 years ago.  I've had patch testing and allergy testing.  The patch testing showed that I'm allergic to certain acrylates, fragrances and ceteryl alcohol.  The allergy testing showed that I'm allergic to ragweed and I had hay fever as a child.  I also have hypothyroidism and am currently taking Levothyroxine.  I switched back to it after thinking that maybe I'm allergic to Armor Thyroid.

I've tried topical steriods and protopic but those are short-term solutions.  About six months ago I stopped using both and started eating a healthy diet and taking probiotics with no success.  My eczema is worse and I have terrible itching which starts every night at about 5 p.m.

I'm wondering if I may be allergic to cats as I have three indoor cats and two outdoor cats. The two outdoor cats come in when it's cold outside.

The allergy testing was negative for allergy to cats, but my eczema is on my legs, arms and face where my cats would typcially touch me.  Has anyone found that eczema is aggravated by cats?

Hmmm...thanks, Marlene.  I've had allergy tests and apparently I'm not allergic to any foods....at least that's what showed on the results.

No cat don't aggravate my chronic urticaria & eczema but dogs do, they bring me up in a bad rash hive and welts and sores that are very painful on touch
