Hi guys I was wandering if anyone can help, my daughter started with what looks like exczma about a week ago on her hand but this morning she said it's started to hurt, this is the first signs of anything like this (she's 22) so was wandering if there's anything we can do to stop it in its tracks, thank you in advance 😊

    Hi

i suggest taking a antihistamine tablet, it may itch try some cream like avena to start with if all else fails see the G P who may prescribe a mild steroid cream.

hope that's a little but of advice from a sufferer of 10 years

I would avoid the steroids if possible but an antihistamine would help with the itch.I use sudocrem or any nappy rash cream containing zinc at night .This can be drying so I moisturise with pure shea butter .You can get hand creams with shea in them.Aveeno works for some people as a moisturiser.Good luck

We will try the natural route first and see how that goes, We have organic coconut oil in the house so will use that first then move on to suggested products until we find what works, thank you for your help it's much appreciated 😊

I use organic coconut oil on my skin, but find it is too quickly absorbed so has to be re-applied constantly.  Try Palmer's Cocoa Butter cream.  Added bonus--it smells delicious & it's reasonably priced as well as natural.
