Eczema of the nipple, could this be Pagets Disease?

I have experienced this for 4 months now and visited my doctor nearly every 2 weeks since, been referred to Dermatology who I saw yesterday. She was a little concerned as my symptoms were symptoms of Pagets disease. She said for now she will treat it as eczema as that is "more likely" and has prescribed me my 5th, 6th and 7th cream! Told me to see how I get on with that and when I go back, if there is no improvement a biospy will be carried out.

Has anyone else had similar issues and can offer me some advice? I am only 22 years old and usually very fit and healthy. 4 months is a long time to have a problem with your breasts, especially as a young woman! No cream, emollient or antibiotics have worked for me as of yet...

I currently suffering badly with eczema including the nipple. My friend had to have a biopsy on hers as had isolated patch on her breast but was fine. Really don't want a biopsy though. Hope disappears soon.

I read in an article, Pagets is to be found by a boddy scan, there is no mentioning about biopsy.

However, a biopsy alway's come in handy, to find out more about this excema.

Both, the scan or the biopsy, don't hurt and I just wonder why your Dermatologist just didn't reffer you to the hospitzal for this.

    In all cases, good luck.

My friend had a biopsy on her nipple and wasn't too much fun so I would only have one if necessary and not volunteer for one!

I had one biopsy done on my nipple, this turned out to be a streptococcus type A infection, the proces was uncomfortable, but for sure didn't hurt.

But, I'm a man, maybe this could be the difference ??

My doctor for some reason didn't do this in the first place to rule it out. Nothing seems to be working so I am quite keen to get a biopsy done, mostly to put my mind at rest!

The ointment the dermatlogist gave me seems to have made it worse and makes it seep more. Yet she booked me an appointment for 3 months time so I'm not sure what to do. I can't wait that long as it's driving me insane!!

I might call my doctor again and request a biopsy.

In France we have outside the hospitals, private laboritoria, those are paid by the security insurance.

I had mine done in a clinic like this.
