Eczema or psoriasis what to do

Hi my daughter sent me a pic of a red scaly spot on her lower leg. What could this be? Eczema..psoriasis...dermatitis?? Can we send a pic on the forum !

    See a derm and they can takemamskin scrapingnand diagnosemand prescribe medication.

    I can't seem to figure out a way to share pictures either. It could be any one of those things. Its really hard to say. Typically though eczema (at least for me) was intensely itchy and the skin would turn almost leathery and become swollen. I have never had psoriasis but from what i have read about it, there is another element to the itching like a burning or stinging sensation.

    Heard oatmeal in water helped scratching. Put cup of oatmeal in pint jar of water.  Helped a little.  Over time water began to ferment.  Fermented water healed scratching  and raw skin very soon.  Scratching increased after application but stopped completely within minutes.  After mixing oatmeal with water in jar, cover jar with dark cloth and allow air to get to solution.  Keep in warm area.  Fermentation should start soon.
