Effexor increase to 150mg

Any one recently increased there Effexor I’m 11 days on 150mg how long should I wait

    Hi can u keep me informed..I'm just to go up from 75mg immediate release to 150 extended release and scared off any side effects

      Hello...some ppl get side effects and some don't...if 75 mg isn't working for you then 150 is the next step...it will take up to 8 wks for full benefits of the 150 mg....I didn't stay on 150 mg bcuz of withdrawals if ever you want off them..I'm staying on my 75mg until I absolutely need to go higher....I'm hoping never...but this is just my thought...

    I just went from 75 mg to 150 mg...I stopped the 150 mg after 4 days n went back to 75 mg....I cldnt take the side effects...besides I've been reading about these n the withdrawals are extremely bad if you ever want off them...and I'm thinking the higher I go on mg it CLD be worse on withdrawal...but that's just me...if 75 isn't working for you then 150 mg will be better..it takes 8 wks or so to get the full benefits....

    I'm actually doing really well...I tried the 150 mg but cldnt stand the side effects so I went back to 75 mg....how was 75 mg working for you? Maybe you should try going back down...

      How long are u on 75mg I was on it4 weeks then got increased should I have gave it longer

      I been on it over a year n yes u need more time on it...don't know why the Dr upped it for you when it takes 8 weeks to get full benefits...I wld go back to 75mg as soon as possible...stay on it for 8 wks n see how you feel...

      Yes but not as much now....I was always thinking death wld be better...but that goes away..they say if ur suicidal u need to tell ur Dr because the pills need some other support...plz go talk to ur Dr...death shld only happen when God says it shld...we are not god ...let him make that choice for us.....u need to remember that each day gets better...it did and still is for me...

      Thoughts are not as bad and I would never act on them did u feel worse before u felt better

      Yes I felt worse before I got better.....now I feel normal..I've been on 75 mg for bout a year now.....

      Hi I’m 5 weeks in now I was feeling okish for about a week and since Monday I’m feeling down is this part of it??r a setback
