Effexor side effects long term

HI. I have been on Effexor for over 10 yrs. Within the last year and a half I have developed some serious REM sleep disorder. It has been so embarrassing!! Screaming, yelling, swearing and full blown discussions! I have checked my other medication (Wellbutrin) and there is no info showing any links to REM sleep disorder. I have found a few that links effexor to REM sleep disorder. Has anyone else experienced this with effexor long term use?

    ive been on them for about 13 years now and ive just started have brain jolts and what i can only explain is my heart stops and my body jolts up to grab a breath lol , i think its all fairly normal from what i have researched and read up on
