Was just prescribed Effexor XR for my anxiety and acute panic attacks today and I start it tomorrow. Any positive reviews/anyone had success with this?

No comments on the Effexor.. I’ve been on Zoloft and buspar since giving birth. Definitely feel better but still not 100%. Like you I’m still suffering from the everyday headaches/head pressure/dizziness. Finally going to see an ENT Monday to see if it could be sinus related. I’m just so down because of it. My head literally never feels clear since I’ve had the baby.. how has yours been?? I really understand your frustration!!

I tried Lexapro & Buspar with no luck. sad

I’m hoping the Effexor will help. This headache/dizzy mess is getting old. This is my first baby so I guess it’s  due to big changes, I don’t know.

Let me know what the ENT says though, please! I’ve thought about going myself.

I take lexapro and it has worked for me. I have heard positive stuff from a coworker. His doctor gave him effexor for GAD and headaches and he has been doing great with it . It is suppose to be good for both

Hello. I’ve been on Effexor XR for a month after having a bad time on Prozac. Effexor helped my depression soooo much. And it helped it quickly! I’m still struggling with anxiety but it’s helped a little bit...I still have panic attacks but I seems to be able to calm down quicker.

I also suffer from sinus issues. I just finished a round of antibiotics with no luck. I’m going to see my doctor on Monday and hope for an ENT referral. My head constantly hurts with intense pressure in my cheeks and eyes. I also get very dizzy and have constant ringing in my ears...makes my anxiety a billion times worse.
