ELBOW FRACTURE PINNED- HOW LONG IN CAST?

 how long am i likely to be in a cast after my elbow fracture is pinned?>

    I was in a splint for 2 weeks after plate and screws placed. The Dr was gonna send me home in an ACE wrap but I work as an infusions nurse and so he gave me an adjustable brace to wear when at work or around crowds.
