Elbow issues

Hi

For the past few weeks or so I've been having some odd sensations in my elbows. One day its my left, then my right and then both. I wouldn't say its painful but more like an aching feeling, sometimes it feels warm and then the discomfort radiates down my forearm and even sometimes feels like its coming from my shoulders. I have an office job, so am constantly sat down typing all day. Could this be poor posture, carpel tunnel?

Thank you 😃

it could be cubital tunnel syndrome. posture is really important. also checking you haven't got a stiff neck.

I have been to see a chiropractor and massage therapist whenevr ive been stiff but havent been for this yet as i didnt know if it would be a trapped nerve or something bone related. The only reason i think maybe carpel tunnel or a trapped nerve in my shoulder is because it comes down from my shoulder, right down my arm and into my fingers. Today it feels like my fingers are a little numb. I suppose you could say its from the side of my neck and shoulder and radiating all the way down.

It might sound odd but i also wasnt sure if maybe it was from using my phone, they make them so big now that it takes my whole hand to hold onto it. And as stated previously, i have an office job and am typing all day. This is mainly affecting my right hand side which is my dominant hand also.

yes could all fit with a C5/6 disc bulge in your neck. suggest seeing someone. start with GP. if no luck then probably need to see a neurosurgeon or good shoulder surgeon who can confirm whether its your neck and investigate it appropriately

So you think more an issue with my neck oppose to a trapped nerve or carpel tunnel?

i think you need to see GP or specialist to be examined properly before diagnosis. that will make things more clear. there are many possibilities!

I am booked in with the chiropractor tomorrow so maybe she can tell me something, if that doesnt help then i will go and see my GP. Thank you

      Morning Sam

So I went to the doctor and he did a physical exam, didn't see a problem, basically put it down to a possible trapped nerve. He also mentioned fibromyalgia as over the past year i've also have abdominal issues. I have had multiple tests and ultrasounds and everything has come back clear. So the long and short of it is, they have ruled out multiple things so he also mentioned fibromyalgia. So i guess we just plod on and see if anything changes.
