Elderberry syrup

hi does anyone know if elderberry is good for the immune system. im trying to boost my immune system because of this virus. im already taking 1000mg of vit c every day. 10mg of zinc, 25ug vitamin d3 (not sure if thats the highest amount you can take) 1000mg omega 3 and vitamin b complex. and whats the best vitamins for a 6 year old pls to boost his immune system aswell. as some of you have probably already seen my previous posts a very worried young 28 year old mum. terrifed of this virus

    Yes Ive heard elderberry to be good for the immune system. It sounds like you are already taking all of the right things.

    I would also add some high strength garlic capsules especially during winter months.

    For your 6 year old just make sure they are eating a healthy balanced diet and you could always get them a multivitamin to take. In the winter the most important one to take would be Vitamin D for the both of you.

      thanks amy. wonder where could i get garlic capsules. the thing with my little boy is that he is such a fussy eater and i worry about him so much

      I get my garlic from Holland and Barrett are you UK?

      I know what you mean about having a fussy eater. I have two like that. Try not to worry about your little one getting it. Most children have it very mild or asymptomatically.
