Electric head shock

I was just lying down and had the strangest head sensation. First it started of as head pressure and sinus then suddenly felt a electric shock type sensation. I am so scared. Has anyone ever felt this. It's late and i am considering going to the hospital.

i have had that. usually before my period for a couple of days. sometimes it feels like a cell phone vibrating inside my body. i take cayenne pepper and cinnamon everyday. it helps my blood pressure.
hang in there. worry is always worse at night. breath deep and focus on something happy.

Christine thank you for your response. It's 1:30 in the morning and i am trying my best to not think about what just happened. Turned on a movie for distraction. Everyday it seems like something new. it's good to know that someone else experienced this. Maybe now i can get some rest. Hugs

I have has this many many times. Not sure what it is, but I'm still standing! If in doubt, always seek medical attention. I would guess another wonderful menopause symptom though.

I've had those. Very scary. Usually in the middle of the night, would wake me up. Loud zap.

hi hopeforever,
i don't know if what i experience is the same as you but i have had many electric shock sensations in the head over the last few years one that did go through my head into my mouth... i ended up with burning mouth syndrome and i have burning skin on the left side of my face and left arm and weakness in the left arm. other symptoms too many to list. the neurologist says i now have a neurological disorder but he doesn't know what from. i am finding more and more women are suffering as we are with these very odd and painful or discomforting issues. i do hope yours just goes
