From what my doctor says, and I am only 8 days post op, I will be wearing tennis shoes with additional supports for. 2-3 months. And after that, always a support in any shoe. I overplayed ( roll in when I walk). And sliders, per se, do not have enough ankle support. She told me to wear flat, lace up shoes with hard arch support ( not foam).

Good luck. Praying for pain relief for you.

    Best Regards

Hi Cindershelly, what exactly does "support in any shoe" mean? What kind of support? Where would such support be found?

      Many thanks! xxx

    hi

i did exactly the same thing then spoke to

physio he said addidas are the best trainners to wear as they have the 3 stripe support and told me never to wear sliders

as there is no support and to keep them on your feet u tend to walk more on heal

so my hugo boss sliders are on the shelf

good look and its only early days

Thanks. I know Recovery is the road ahead. I'm string willed and determined and started making healthy lifestyle changes before surgery that hopefully will help in recovery. I'm the only one that can take care of Me besides God, so there is NO room for Try. only Do.

( Lets recheck my attitude when I start PT and walking again. Lol)
