Embedded stitch

Hi, I had a glaucoma op and at the same time had the cataract in the same eye fixed. I was told that one stitch was still in the eye and not to bother unless it was giving me problems???? On my last check-up I mentioned this and the Dr said that it would be difficult to remove as it was embedded in the eye. Recently I feel as though I have a piece of grit in the eye and now I'm concerned that it is playing up. I do not go until next year for another check-up. Has anyone had this problem and had it removed - if so what was the procedure.

    ​SOrry I do not know the answer tothis but I would suggest that you definitelygo and see the ophthalmologist  ifthisis going worse or if you are unhappy as one usuallyhas a gut feeling when things arenot right. Even if th dr does not siuggest any treatmentthen th fact your eye was assessed will be very reassuring.
