Emotional Few Days

One of them weeks id rarther forget,
On thursday last week i saw my nurse about giving up smoking
She was really good about the smoking part but when i told her about my mentality due to M.E and id struggle with controling my thoughs and things she told me it was all in my head and i can do it and dont use M.E as an excuse !! Grrrrrr
Friday afternoon i went food shoping and found it really hard and frustrating, but walking back to my bike i noticed a guy push a trolly into my bike, so i said "its not a trolly park" his reply was F***OFF!!, after i put my shopping on my bike he drove past and shouted retard at me !!
Well im sure you can understand how i felt over that
Then saturday morning i got told my friend up the road was rushed to hospitol with a full blown heart attack and was in intensive care after they cleared 3 blood clots,
Talking to my neibour about our friend outside my caravan, a womans dog escaped from up the road and jumped on him leaving footprints on his back, so that all kicked off, then she started shouting abuse at us both, and hes 70 this week
Then another friend whom i saw in the morning walking his dog came up to us and said his dog had just died from a twisted gut
I dont think ive being this mentally drained in all my life and has certainly taken it outa me,
why do all bad things happen at once
P.S I will be going back to see my nurse about giving up smoking so fingers crossed
P.P.S Carnt even have a drink to help me relax

As for the nurse, I suggest you take her a copy of the Guide for Non Sufferers as it souns as though she needs a bit of education

Like Alicia said that nurse needs educating. They are supposed to treat people as individuals and not pre judge
Good luck with stopping smoking :P
Do you need a hug?

Secondly, as I am constantly saying - I do wished I lived a little nearer to you and then I could come and sort out that stupid nurse- she needs to go and do her homework. To make that sort of comment is pure ignorance.:steam: She is an embarrassment to my profession.
And that goes for the bloke with the trolley too - I can sort him out at the same time. He is just a waste of space and not worth even thinking about. :twisted:When I get mad, I really can lose it so they had both better watch out.
Hope your friend who had the heart attack is now recovering okay - at least that is one area where I think we can be proud of our NHS - any real emergency and they are usually pretty good. :doctor::nurse:
And sorry about your friend's dog - strangely enough my daughter has a friend who is a vet and she was really upset at the weekend as she had just 'lost' a year old dog on the operating theatre with a twisted gut. Very sad.
Well, Jay things can't get much worse so here's hoping you have a much better week - (even if the weather down here IS pants! )
Take care
Katie xx
PS - Just wondered how you were getting on knitting my bright red scarf?

Glad things are going well with your friend. It sounds as if he has had what is called a 'stent' placed in his coronary arteries (little arteries around the heart) which keep the vessels open so they can do their job properly. It's all put in place via a cathetar which is pushed through a blood vessel in the groin. Lesson over . Just so you can impress him at your next visit.:ok:
Gosh, with all your problems it's enough to make you want a ciggie - but now you have told us you are trying to quit, we will be keeping an eye on you, Jay
Take care and look after yourself.
