Hi, Can anyone recommend a trusted retailer for emuaid for lichen sclerosus? I've heard that there are lots of counterfeit products on the market, and want to make sure I don't waste my money. Thank you!

I use Speer laboratories. I did use Amazon one time but when I called this company they warned me about using Amazon. They said there are counterfeit products out there and they won't do refunds on products not bought from them.

Just google it and you will get to the right website instantly. There is generally someone to ask questions you have right there.

they are in USA, I am in NZ and they gave me the web address of company in Australia who supply NZ with their product.

All very easy, is pricey but good stuff for various skin complaints.

Thank you so much! Is the emuaid first aid ointment the best to go for?

I'd never heard of emuaid and just read a bit on it after reading your post. Have people been using this with success to treat LS?

      Hi

its emu oil in a solidified form like coconut oil to look at. I don't think it's a treatment for LS as such but some people find it soothing and many people use it for psoriasis and dermatitis for their skin on other parts of the body. I tried it but as I have LP it was too strong for me on open lesions.

People who have LS with the white plaques probably have more success. I'm sure someone will tell you.

It's not a cure but it greatly relieved my itching. I don't find it very helpful when I'm sore. i just ordered some from them again. I'm Canadian and the cost of getting it from the states is horrific but she held over a sale for me from last week. You can call them and ask questions. They are happy to answer questions you may have.

I just made the connection between emu and emulaid oil. Duh. I was wondering all this time about emu oil! Ha. Well, I'm in Vietnam (although originally from Canada too) so I'm doubtful that I'll order it to here. Anyway, I'm been having great success with using a borax solution to get rid of the LS symptoms of white plaque and using vitamin E & jojoba oil to moisturize seems to be working for me. Thank you for letting me know though. The emu oil mystery is finally solved!

That's ok!smile. Does the borax solution relieve itching also?

To be honest, I've just got the white plaque, haven't got the itching. That being said, while I've been using the borax solution I've had some brief periods of itch and what I discovered was that this occured when the fusing was releasing. But my bits have returned to pink and the fusing I had has almost entirely released.
