Emuaid or coconut oil?

I would like to know which is better. Emuaid First Aid cream or coconut oil?  Emuaid is expensive.... Does coconut oil work just as well?  Ours is as hard as a rock! How do you use it? Confused.....

    Hi - the coconut oil is hard but it melts as soon as you apply it to your skin.

    Debi - I have found that coconut oil which melts in your hands, is great for keeping things moisturized and comfortable, BUT CASTOR Oil has many years of more healing properties behind it. I use both; I use castor oill to work on healing the sores, and coconut oil for juiciness.

    Emuaid is much better for me. Coconut oil increases my itching. 

    I also use castor oil, emu oil, jojoba oil, witch hazel, olive oil.

      Thank you to all who answered. I have a little jar of coconut oil and Emuaid that I alternate with. The coconut oil feels much better! The tear is not hurting as much. Thank you ladies. 😃
