hello...Yes, I have used emuaid...in fact, while still having half a jar, I bought another jar just so I won't run out of it!  It is expensive (to me)...but for me, it is worth it.  Now I only have LS on my bottom area, so I don't use much at a time, but it truly helps me.  At first I was afraid to try it when I opened the jar, but got up the nerve, took a tiny smudge and put it on a small area and waited to see if it would burn or anything.  It really felt very nice and calming and soothing...so I right away took a regular amount and applied it all over the LS area.    Since then, I have used it on other skin things...like itchy spots or red patches...I think it would be worth a try definitely.  Here, in the US, it is $48 for a 2 oz jar, whether bought on eBay or from the Emuaid web, so I bought it on eBay from someone who will give free shipping.  I also bought the emuaid non-soap to try, but I wasn't as happy with it and it is expensive, too.  So I tried Cetaphil non-soap.  The emuaid soap is $20 a bar, and the Cetaphil is $5 a bar....sooooo.....that's what I currently use.

Hi Miss Cracked...  :o).......The emuaid only makes my condition feel better and is soothing and a nice thing to  use to keep the area oiled and keep it from sticking together....but that is enough, right?  It is the steroid ointment that keeps the LS under control I believe.  After a bit more than 2 yrs of using a steroid, I now only use the milder one twice a week....but  from what I understand, the steroid is for the long haul.

Oh,,,you poor, poor thing...so miserable.  I've avoided steroids but can certainly understand why you would resort to them.  I found that almost anything I put on the LS on my legs causes them to itch more.  Aveeno has an eczema lotion that has helped some...so I usually put that on after bathing. I use Cetaphil for cleansing...very gentle and I wholeheartedly recommend it.  I have also used pure olive oil soap...no additives which is also non-irritating...but still prefer the Cetaphil.  I have the LS on my lower legs up to my knees (plus private area...and LP in my mouth) ....seems to be going higher and higher on my legs...scary.  I've read about the Emuaid...think I'm going to research the ingredients and see if a compound pharmacist can make it for me cheaper.  Worth looking into if I can get it a larger amount for less money.  I've made a natural ointment up that I'm trying now...will post here if I see improvement in my LS.  Thanks for the tip.

Hi thank you for responding to me , sometimes I think I'm the only one with this skin infection. I'm glad I have some one to talk to now. I am also using Cetaphil and a topical steroid cream but it's making my skin really thin and I bruise easy . I have went to several doctors and the only thing they can tell me that might help is photo therapy. My opinion on that is it will dry my skin out more. Another thing that has happened is I have had a head cold since October of last year the infection is taking a toll on my immune system. Can't seem to fight off the common cold. Have you experienced that as well. Thanks😊

I always have some sinus drainage...but have allergies...so am sure that is more what it is.  I think it is mostly food borne as while fasting it cleared up. Hopefully you can get your skin healthier...try the skin vitamins...zinc, A and C and see if that helps a bit.  I've heard biotin is a good one to take as well. I know vitamin A takes about 3 months for you to see results with it...so don't give up on them too soon. Take care.
