Enbrel no longer effective

Hi,

I've been on Enbrel 50 mg injections for more than 10 years. I found it to be a wonder drug as Methotrexate never worked for me at all. Over the last couple of months though, it seems to be becoming less effective. The swelling and pain is back in knees, shoulders, hands and feet.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? I've also noticed pain around my rib cage that I never had before and minor breathlessness. Has anyone experienced these as possible symptoms of RA? I would never have considered the rib cage as an area that would experience RA pain but I was wondering if they might be related as these symptoms started around the same time that the joint pain returned (I did the cardio stress test and the chest pain is not heart related).

Many thanks in advance for any thoughts!

John.

Many thanks Rhona ... I'll certainly do that. Methotrexate didn't work at all for me and I've been delighted with Enbrel until recently. I must ask about Simphoni.
