Encourageing words for any newbies

just wanted to encourage the newbies TKR. I am almost 6 months and I love my new knee.  I am doing everything I did before.  We are in the process of doing a road trip out West for 30 days.  When I think of when I was 2 weeks out I would never have thought that would be in the cards.

hang in there everyone and blessings for continue recovery.

Robin, I hope at 6 months I feel the same as you. I am 4 months TKR and still can't say I love my knee! Maybe 2 more months will make a difference. Glad to hear you are doing so well and enjoy your road trip.

SO SO delighted to see you say this Robin:-)))))  At three months post TKR I absolutely agree.  Even with one knee still needing doing, the strength in the operated knee is helping with the weakness in the unoperated one!  So I am walking easier than I was!  This is the greatest gift!  It's so lovely to see people post after recovery!:-))))  Enjoy!

Great to hear this at 4 weeks post op, I'm starting to do more now but I have my moments where I think ... am I going to ever be normal again?? I'm pushing for more of a bend, I have more for it to come but so paranoid that it won't get there. It feels like cement under my skin right above the knee but has been diminishing over the past few weeks, I hope this keeps on happening because I feel that's why I can't bend ( this is the scar tissue right??)
