Encouragement for those just starting Sertraline!

Years ago I had really bad varicose veins in my right leg and the procedure at the time was to "strip" the veins which was painful... it took about 6 weeks with a very tight elasticated bandage on my leg then a further 6 weeks before I could use my leg properly without pain - just! When I'd recovered it was such a relief to feel my leg was normal again 😃

So for those just starting Sertraline take heart, it may be tough to start with but when the meds kick in you'll feel like singing and dancing in the street - better not though just incase the police pick you up and section you 😳

I was just wondering where you were going with this Blu02, then it all made sense, haha! You're right, people need to be realistic about feeling a bit worse before feeling better on SSRIs, but when it works it really works, hey?

That's a great comparison!!! Thought I would be feeling better after taking the first tablet!!!! But after two and half weeks I don't. So might need stronger dose and will be patient. I don't get bad side effects just tiredness in the mornings. Thanks for advice though..... And I will wait a few more weeks to see if they kick in x
