well here we are at home,

got the hubby to come to the doctors on Monday, did not have a good night Friday.

I need to see her as i think i have an allergy, and i am going to see if i can get an appointment at Chapel Allerton hospital as i get the impression my doctors knowledge is the same as mine regarding PMR

Hope you managed to enjoy some of your holiday ,it's very frustrating when you look forward to a holiday and your own body lets you down .Hopefully now you are home it will help yourelax a bit knowing you have an appointment to see your doctor . Carol

hi dave, yes i am going to insist on going to chapel allerton (hope the doctor will listen) as Dewsbury hospital is rubbish, its the 3rd worst hospital my daughter in law who works at sheffield hallam hospital told me not to go there. When i had to go las year after 16mths i got fed up, went to doctor and said send me to bradford please, and within 5 weeks that suspected bone cancer, then thankfully when i went to see the doctor wh dealt with this he said no its not.

then one thing led to another and my doctor did a blood test after my daughter in law suggested i might have PMR ,

      regards margaret.

Chapel Allerton rheumatology department is probably amongst the best in the country for PMR/GCA - and I would travel miles to see their people.  What they don't know about them probably isn't worth knowing.
