Hi everyone. I'm 27 years old. Been having issues with my menstruation since May 2017. I kept pushing it off as too I thought it was cause I was under alot of stress because I had been planning for my wedding in July. Finally in October I made a appt with a gyno he did a pap smear on me an said it was fine and put me on birth control. I took the birth control for a month it made me feel terrible and I bled for an entire month which I was already bleeding for 2 to 3 weeks sometimes a month when I had my periods. I finally went back to having a normal period for 2 Months. Then it started again so I went to another gyno and I told her everything I had going on. She was upset the other gyno didn't do any more test to follow up. So she ordered me to have a sonogram done of my uterus and alot of blood work done. My sonogram came back abnormal do she had me go do more blood work. I went back l for my drs appt she said I had endomitrial thickening on my uterus and that she wanted me to come back the next week and have a biopsy done to see if it's non cancerous or if it is cancerous. I'm nervous about it all and keep thinking the worse. I'm just glad I went back and got another Dr to help me. Anyways Friday evening I started having a fever I thought maybe the flu again since I had it about a month ago my whole body was aching back hurting so I laid in a warm bath for an hour. Saturday morning I woke up fever was gone but still body aches Saturday evening the fever was back and I had really bad back cramps felt like I was having mild contractions I started my period and it was very watery with blood.so I took another warm bath to help with my back pains it helped a little. I went to bed woke up fine this morning still a little pain but not as bad. Anybody else have this problem? Could this happen with endomitrail thickening causing me pain and fever with my menstruation? She also said have some cyst on my ovaries too is the pain from them? I haven't been in that much pain since I had labor i almost went to the Dr last night but tried to wait it out and sleep it off. If it comes back today fever an bad pain they I will go to the Dr it just wanted to know if I'm over freaking out with everything because I'm under stress with having a biopsy done on tuesdag?

Omg. I am having almost the exact symptoms and problems. I feel like I'm in labor sometimes. But crazy part is. The time before this ( I started bleeding again yesterday) i had a gush and ran to the bathroom because it went down my leg and all over my clothes. So I hopped in the tub so I wouldn't get it all over place. And being a women. We can push stuff out. So when I pushed to make any more come out I literally had about half a pint of blood pout out of me. And it scared the living s**t out of me. I started crying not realizing I was because having anxiety isn't fun. So I instantly had an anxiety attack with tears and started screaming for my mother and baby's father. I took a quick shower and when I got out I told them I would go to the hospital later on that night cause living in Cali every hospital seems to be full all day. Well I ended up not going cause I fell asleep. And the next day I woke and the same day. My bleeding stopped like my normal period. So now about 2 weeks later. I'm bleeding again. And it's black then Brown then watery red blood like usual. And this has been going on for 3-4 months now. But my daughters 7-8 months and talking to my Obgyns assistant. This bleeding problem started around the time I was due for another Depo shot. I have all the symptoms it described too. Feels like labor pains sometimes as well. Its crazy and scary. Will be seeing obgyn soon. Hopefully. ALSO ONLY 20 years old. !!!!

    Hello everyone,

I am 56, so in menopause since 51 or 52 years old.  I do have uterine fibroids, and have had them since before menopause.  In the past two years, I have had seen some blood when I wipe after peeing, and I have had some cramping like happens the day before your period starts.  Went to doc in January and had my PAP (I have had breast cancer twice.  I am perplexed as to why I have to have this every three years considering the cancer.), and they did the PAP and a transvaginal ultrasound.  Said that the fibroids had not grown (good), and that my uterine lining is 1mm (supposedly good for being in menopause).  Sometimes the blood is bright red, sometimes it is a murky brown (like dried blood).  Went back to the doc last week (new doc now because my regular doc moved to Hawaii (lucky her)), and this doc concurred with regular doc that there is no worry for any cancer because my lining is 1mm and if I had endometrial cancer my lining would be thicker (per doctor), and a biopsy was not performed due to that information.  It was suggested that I go to a urologist (appointment is scheduled).  In the past couple of weeks I have noticed white mucus and sometimes brown mucus (I'm sure, mixed with old blood from who knows where at this point).  Still, no alarms going off for the gyn doc.  I only see the blood when I wipe after peeing, though.  Anyone else have a similar experience?  I am kind of worried that this could be something gyn and not urology.  Really, I am just waiting to see the urologist so she can tell me that it's not a bladder or kidney problem.  Then I will have to go back to the gyn and tell them, "Ah, guess what?"   I am worried also that it has been two years since this problem has begun.

    ?Thanks.  smile?

In reply to Judy for symptom reasons in endometrial cancer I can agree that the symptoms I experienced were little to none.  Menopause was passed for 2-3 years prior to cancer recognition.  The cancer was found through an x-ray similar to one used to trace a babies progress.  The mass was found on the right side of the fallopian tube in the ovary.  The doctors performed a radical hysterectomy with an incision pressing downward from the belly to the puberty area.  The healing process took 6-9 months in completion between the physical and mental part of the operation.  This was performed in January of 2017 and I didn't really feel completely better until a year later.  I was fortunate that the cancer did not spread to my lymph nodes as that would have really been tragic.  The doctor that performed the operation was really good and thorough and today I feel just about as good as I did before it was done.

I believe 8 or 9 is the starting point for uterine lining being too thick. Mine was 18. My only symptom was bleeding which subsided in a few days and then had a yellowish discharge off and on. When bleeding started again I was so afraid but knew I had to face it and go to the doctor. I am well past menopause. The first Dr also sent me to a urologist. She sent me for an ultrasound which pretty much told the story. Back to original Dr for biopsy. I had grade 3 cells. I am almost 3 weeks out from my hysterectomy and will be starting 3 rounds of radiation. Thank God I didn't wait any longer to go to the doctor but I wish I had gone with the first indication of bleeding. Don't ever try to ignore that symptom it is often the only symptom. It was still stage 1b for me. Good luck. I know how scared it is but you could have something other than cancer. Your lining is not that thick.

Thanks Judy21735.  Just had an abdominal CT scan, and nothing.  No sign of anything bad.  However, the radiologist never mentioned anything about the uterine fibroids or the scar tissue in my right kidney.  Sometimes I have to wonder about the training these people receive or just the plain issue of them not really wanting to go into detail.  The urologist will perfom a urogram or uroscopy (not sure what it is called) at my next appointment.  I am perplexed.  Not sure what is going on.

Thank you. I did go to the drs as soon as I could get an appt but the whole process has taken weeks. My biopsy is today. I'm nervous !

Very frustrated today.  I'm 35 years old. Always had slightly irregular cycles, with cramps, nausea, bloating, aches and pains. Had a 2-month cycle from Dec to end of Jan this year.  Then bled heavily.  Mid Feb I started spotting on my toilet paper after I peed.  Then it became occasional spotting on my underwear, then daily spotting on my underwear, then throughout the day spotting on my underwear and had to start wearing panty liners.  End of Feb I started getting occasional nausea, then the frequency increased.  By mid March I was nauseated at some point every day.  I also started getting bloating.  I saw a doctor who ordered basic blood tests and said to come back when I stop bleeding for a pelvic exam.  Last Thursday night I went to Emergency because the nausea had become constant (all day every day) and I had severe chills.  CT scan was clear.  They sent me home with very strong antinauseants that don't work for me and said I need a pelvic ultrasound to look closer because CT scans can't see fine details.  Monday I went to a clinic and got an ultrasound done.  Today I saw my MD who said ultrasound showed a polyp (though all my research says they can't positively identify it as a polyp without looking at it).  She doesn't think the nausea, bloating, and chills are related to the bleeding.  And she went back in my chart and pointed out many other times where I have complained of various abdominal issues (basically she's calling me a hypochondriac).  She did say she would refer me to a gynecologist.  She also wants liver function blood tests done.  I feel like either I'm going crazy, or something's wrong and no one believes me.

According to my research, the only symptoms typical of a polyp are abnormal and/or irregular bleeding.  So why am I so sick??

Hi there. I am 23 years old and been having heavy periods and very bad cramps. Last year 2017 in feb i had an D&C as i had polyps. This year 2018 feb i went for a sonohysterogram. And found ive gotten way more in my cervix area. And thickening in the lining. I am on the waiting list 3 to 6 months. I am very nervous, that it may be endometrial cancer etc. My sister recently past away last month with breast , bone & brain cancer. Till it spreaded out to her spine area & had her last breath on the 16th of march 2018 at the age 32, died in my arms. The way she fought her battle for 14 years of cancer was unforgettable and i want you all to know that life is so precious so live it all like its your last cause theyre out there fighting. Keep up the good fight my people. Cause life is too short. Anyone with any symptoms please check asap it could save you. But praying for all my brothers and sisters who are fighting cancer. My heart goes out to you all ?

Hello, I just found this forum and see there been any posts in awhile. Giving it a shot to see if there are any listeners.

I am 39, post menopausal (dr confirmed in 10/2017, although I haven't had a period in over 2 years.)

Started with some spotting a month ago, with 1 day of actual bleeding. Stopped, saw dr, had a vaginal sonogram, showed small amount of fluid on my endometrial lining but lining was not thick, 4mm.

A couple of weeks ago I started bleeding even more, some days it's quite a bit. Others its think brown discharge. Have pelvic pressure, and low abdominal pain(feels achey)

Dr did a biopsy Thursday, waiting for the results but freaking out a bit, as everything I have read points to endometrial cancer.

Hello, I recieved my results yesterday, thankfully no cancer. I'm meeting with my dr on the 18th to see what's the next step as to figure out why I am bleeding.

In response to Phil  regarding symptoms of endometrial cancer.  I had no symptoms prior to diagnosis and surgery.  They found the cancer on the right side through an x-ray similar to one of a progress of a baby.  Prior to that I had cervical cancer 10 years ago which could have been how it progressed to endometrial cancer.  Menopause was over for 5 years and a radical hysterectomy was performed.  It took 1 year to fully recover both emotionally and physically.

To:  Anxious Amanda:  Your symptoms could be similar to fibroid tumors if no cancer is present.  You may want to have that examined.

Hi Virginia, thank you for the reply.  I go for my biopsy on the 19th. I’m trying to stay positive and hopefully it’s just a hormone imbalance but I still have a niggling feeling.
