Endometrial polyp related to cyst?

Hi All,

Just curious to know if anyone who has an ovarian cyst has also had an endometrial polyp at the same, i have a cyst and a polyp both of which I've had previously at the same time, both were removed. My is not Gp not worried about the cyst but has referred me to have a tiny 5mm endometrial polyp removed. Is this necessary? As it doesn't appear to be causing symptoms. Does anyone have experience of endometrial polyps, what size were they if they were removed??

    hi honey,

    it is best to have any polyps removed regardless of size as they can cause problems in the future as to unexplained vaginal bleeding, pain during sex, pain after sex and post coital bleeding

    it is a simple procedure, sometimes done under GA if needed, but a lot of the time this isnt necessary.
