Can anyone with experience on these endometriomas shares there experiences with me please? I have been told I have them after a pelvic transvaginal ultrasound, I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2009 after a laparoscopy. apart from heavy painful periods with large clots I haven't had any other trouble until 8 weeks ago and now my whole body is in pain from the top of my back to the bottom, pain on the left side of my abdomen that goes into my left hip and pain that goes from my groin down the inside of my left leg. it never goes away. i didnt dare ask how many cysts there were or which ovary (if both) or how big they were which I wish I had asked. I rang my gp about the pains Monday and he's reffered me to gynecology

You should be able to get the ultrasound report from whoever did that. That's about all i can say as back when i still had ovaries, tubes, cervix, uterus, not once did anyone use the term endometrioma. I'm sure it existed but no one used it with me.

Your pain sounds awful. i hope that you get help somewhere soon.
