I have been suffering from endometriosis from years and i am 32 years old with no kids yet... I had a surgery in jan and now i ve been put on temporary menopause with shots... I have severe dizziness from two years... I went to many specialist doctors but no one could figure out the cause for it... Does anyone here have endometriosis and dizziness together? My life has been hell from two years...

Totally fed up and dejected with life... My husband and his family are pressurizing me for babies and i dont know if i will ever be able to concieve with these problems..

I'm 31 and only got diagnosed I'm November with endometriosis (stage 4) and adomyosis after 4 and a half years of symptoms and suffering with it.

They have also put me in premature menopause for the past 5 months and will be having further surgery in 2 weeks.

I suffer from dizziness to have have done for more years than I can remember but I always put it down to having a low blood pressure. I wonder if it is linked.

Hi Mel, if you are taking a gnrh(lupron) shot dizziness is part of the sideeffects. Endo is a complex disease and most drs don't know how to handle. There is a great closed group in Fb Nancy's nook where you can ask for advise.  Hold in there, there are options, educate yourself, take care. Best

Laura, be sure that your surgeon knows what he is doing and he does excision surgery not ablation. There is a list in this two groups on fb: endometropolis and Nancy's nook with surgeons with good review. Good luck.

      Hi Melissa and welcome.

I hate to say it but there are about a million reasons for dizziness, and to doctors, endo would be towards the bottom of the list of suspected causes. This is natural because endo affects such a small percentage of the population. Someone here mentioned a link with an endo med.

On the other end of the spectrum, a few yrs back healthy women in their 50s were getting dizzy. Some couldn't drive cars or walk alone for more than a year. Docs, all different ones, ultimately decided it was a virus

Heart lung ears circulation -- any of these could be causing dizziness. Ditto for tons of meds. Good luck.

       hi Laura,

I too have low blood pressure from my childhood but I never had any issues then .. Its from past two years that I have terrible dizziness ... I always had bad periods but last one year was hell... I used to land up in emergency every month and no doctor could find the cause for it... I was finally given morphine which only made me sleep but my pain didnt go away... I had the surgery in Jan and I thought everthing would be fine now for at least few months but now I see that I have terrible pain during intercourse.... Does anyone else also has pain during intercourse?

I always had this pain but after surgery it has become worst :-( its so painful that I dread the thought of it...

      hi Aitarg,

Thanks for responding to my post ... I too went to a lot of different docs and tried many physical therapies and all kinds of medication... none has helped me so far except Diazepam which is kind of additive.. Earlier one tablet per time helped me for 3 to 4 hours but now it doesnt... I have to take double the dose... some docs say it will go away by itself... I just hope I wake up one day and have no health issues at all... Waiting for God to do some miracle...

      Hi Pato ,

Yes I am on Lupron from last 5 months and I know one of its side effect is dizziness but I have this dizziness from 2 plus years.... Last year I took Clomid to get pregnant but it failed.. I think that made my dizziness worst..  I am sooo apprehensive to take hormones but I have no other option but to take them... Just hoping this would be my last month on Lupron... Side efffects are bad :-(

Hi, I had my first surgery laparotomy when I was 29 when they diagnosed severe endometriosis , severe adhesion disease (frozen pelvis) and adenomyosis. Then I had my first Lupron shots, very bad side effects. Didn't work for me, neither the Zoladez and Femara. Endometriosis gave me excessive fatigue, severe pain, profuse bleeding. It affected my ovaryan function, I couldn't have babies. I'm 40 years old now. I did two In vitro with egg donor. It didn't work. We are going to be adoptive parents now. You need to comunicate with your husband how you feeland how you feel about pregnancy comments from him and from his family, you need their support. Also ask him if he is interested to start going with counselours that way you can be heard and it can prepare you guys for anything you guys have to battle. You need to team up as a couple. Also you need to go to reproductive specialist because probably with help you can get pregnant. I'm preparing for my 4th surgery but my strenght around all of this is mantaining my faith, communication with family and friends about what I'm going through and let them now that I need their support. And support from

my husband. Find endometriosis groups in your area. He will see that there are other men fighting endometriosis with their wives. Find endometriois GYn specialist. Hope you get better!!!!

thanks Puerto Rico for your kind words and support... I am going to a councellor but so far she hasnt helped me much.... I am all the time depressed coz of my dizziness and the thought that I am going to have my periods soon...

I would advise you to try some herbs... they might help you.... I tried this thing called ENDOVAN... It did reduce my bleeding during periods and made intercourse tolerable but my pain during periods was terrrible.... far worst than what it used to be... not sure if endovan made it worst...
