endometriosis after hysterectomy-please help

Dear Friends,
I had a hysterectomy on Sept. 1st. due to a fibroid. The pathology reported endometriosis. I have had severe back and pelvic pain every since. My belly is so distended that I look 9 months pregnant. My surgeon and bladder specialist prescribed me with Lupron. I received the shot about a month ago with no relief. I recently went for a cystoscopy which was normal and I am going for a CT scan on Monday. I wish my surgeon had taken out my ovaries. At this point, I feel pretty miserable, because I can't sit or stand without constant pain. I feel that I am in need of a second opinion. I live close to Philadelphia. Can anyone provide some advice? I would be most grateful. Thanks for listening.
Best,
Danielle

Thank you for your reply. I've just been taking Motrin. I feel like the doctors think I'm crazy. The urologist said that it could be muscular or skeletal. And, I know it's not. I hope the CT scan shows something. I don't know if I can wait six months for this Lupron to kick in. UHHH!
Thanks again!
Danielle

You need new docs because someone who knows about endo understands what you're experiencing. I know there are some endo specialists in NYC but I don't know their names. If you FB, go to the site on there for endo in the US & ask the question in that community. I vastly prefer patient & these great folks in the UK for support but that stateside community will have more local doc names.
It can take a while to see an endo specialist. Think about starting a health journal now & going forward. After you get it started summarize what happened before -- surgery, docs, Lupron, etc.
