Having this soon. Please contact if you have had it. Scared stiff.  Have nobody to go with me and if I have the sedation I would be returning to an empty house with nobody able to come over, is that ok?

I had colonoscopy and endoscopy and i preffered the colonscopy. It is not that bad but you do chock a lot when it goes down the throat. Remember and breathe if you keep breathing it stops you choaking and the rest is ok.

You will be fine and it will be worth it when it finds whats wrong. I have barretts Oesophagus and the biopsy was sore but finding it early means they can monitor it.

Good luck you will be fine.

I did not want to say this as a i knew you were getting sedation but a man i was in the waiting area with came out after sedation and said i wish i never got sedation it was horrible.

You will be fine please just breath and don't do what i did and jump straight off the bed after it, i had blood pressure of 105/100 and nearly fainted smile

LOL. If it is not one thing it is another isn't it tambdy. It is more the thing about being on my own that worries me.

I have always had a thing about hospitals where I can shake and feel very sick just going near them.

Fraid not tambdy. My one and only friend is in hospital herself getting over nearly dying and an operation to help her. Cannot see her because the hospital is a long way away.
